For a limited time, Stone Brewing Co. is bringing back its winter beer: Stone Smoked Porter w/Vanilla Bean. The beer is an annual revival of a recipe developed back in 2006 by Stone Small Batch Brewer Laura Ulrich, who was inspired to create a beer that tasted similar to a concoction of Stone Smoked Porter poured over a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, the company says. The resulting beer blends Stone Smoked Porter with Madagascar vanilla beans that can be enjoyed by itself or over vanilla bean ice cream, it adds. Stone Smoked Porter w/Vanilla Bean is available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft in all states and territories where Stone beer is sold.
