Blk. Beverages inks deal with Big Geyser

Partnership to expand East Coast retail distribution of enhanced-water brand

Oakland, N.J.-based blk. Beverages announced a new distribution agreement with Big Geyser Inc., Maspeth, N.Y. Big Geyser now will act as the exclusive distributor of blk. Beverages’ fulvic-enhanced mineral water brands blk. and blk.+ with distribution throughout New York City and its  five boroughs  — Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island — as well as Westchester, Long Island, Nassau and Suffolk counties.

“We are excited about the partnership with Big Geyser and the support they will provide blk. and blk.+ in the New York City area,” said Chris Laurita, chief executive officer of blk. Beverages, in a statement. “Big Geyser’s established influence with the biggest brands and products at retail will prove a valuable asset to us as we look to enhance our reach, depth of products, and service in this territory.”

Blk. will join Big Geyser’s portfolio of non-alcohol beverages including The Coca-Cola Co.’s vitaminwater, Honest Tea and Zico brands; Monster Beverage Corp’s Monster brand; and Campbell Soup Co.’s V8 brand, among many others. Big Geyser-distributed products routinely are placed in leading retail chains such as Whole Foods Market, Duane Reade, 7-Eleven and Hess Convenience Stores, among others in New York City, the companies say.

“We look forward to working with the entire blk. team,” said Jerry Reda, chief operating officer of Big Geyser, in a statement. “We have been watching the brand for some time, and we believe it is has many features and benefits unique to our portfolio with great upside potential.”
