Premium bottled water brand NY2O, New York, joined the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) to support the Drink Up initiative, which encourages people to drink more water more often. The brand will incorporate Drink Up messaging into its retail point-of-sale materials, which it will circulate to the more than 1,500 retailers with which it works. In addition, it will spread the word about the initiative at NY2O-specific events, which will take place in five select regional markets. NY2O also has committed to promote the initiative digitally via its online platforms, it says.

“This effort is all about getting the word out and encouraging more Americans to drink more water,” said PHA Chief Executive Officer Lawrence A. Soler in a statement. “We’re delighted that NY2O has joined our effort and look forward to their work to help spread this important message.”

NY2O currently is available in select markets on the East Coast, with roll-out plans set for the Midwest and Southern California. It is available in 330-ml, 20-ounce, 1-liter and 1.5-liter bottles. The company also plans to launch a sparkling water later this year.
