Coca-Cola Spiced joins permanent offerings for soft drink brand

Coca-Cola Creations reveals Happy Tears Zero Sugar available exclusively on TikTok

For the first time in more than three years, Coca-Cola is adding a new permanent offering to its portfolio in North America: Coca-Cola Spiced. Coca-Cola Spiced transforms the familiar into the extraordinary, blending the iconic taste of Coca-Cola with a burst of notes from raspberry and spiced flavors, it says.

Coca-Cola Spiced is not spicy but is Coke’s boldest tasting brand innovation yet, providing an uplifting taste experience unlike any other.

The packaging design for Coca-Cola Spiced and Coca-Cola Spiced Zero Sugar is in line with the overall visual identity of Coca-Cola Trademark and its Zero Sugar varieties. Coca-Cola Spiced maintains the classic Coke Trademark red supplemented with a sleek swirl made up of raspberry-inspired colors. Both varieties feature a bold, dominant script to hero Coca-Cola’s branding – white for full sugar varieties and black for zero sugar.

Hitting shelves Feb. 19, Coca-Cola Spiced will be available in a 12-ounce sleek can, 12-packs of 12-ounce cans, 10-pack mini cans, 20-ounce bottles, six-packs of 0.5-liter bottles, and 2-liter bottles. Coca-Cola Spiced Zero Sugar will be available in a 12-ounce sleek can, 12-packs of 12-ounce cans, and 20-ounce bottles at most national retailers.

Additionally the brand revealed its latest Coca-Cola Creations: Happy Tears Zero Sugar. Coca-Cola Happy Tears Zero Sugar is the first limited-edition Coca-Cola to celebrate acts of kindness, and the first to be packaged in a hype kit that is available exclusively on TikTok. Available beginning Random Acts of Kindness Day (Feb. 17) until supplies last, Coca-Cola Happy Tears Zero Sugar captures the Real Magic in #HappyTears.

Coca-Cola Happy Tears Zero Sugar draws inspiration from the simplicity of happy tears, a small, clear droplet filled with optimism and joy that’s created from the smallest acts of kindness, the company says. 

Boxed in a limited-edition hype kit that includes two cans, the striking can design is embossed with an iridescent drop of joy, paired with an assortment of items to capture the essence of happy tears. Included are “Happy Tears” stickers, kindness-themed apparel, and customized tissues ― tailored for embracing the magical moments of pure joy.

With a single sip, fans are introduced to a brand-new flavor, featuring a Coca-Cola taste coupled with a splash of salty minerals, to evoke the happy tears, which come with magical moments of kindness.

Coca-Cola Happy Tears Zero Sugar also invites fans to share their “drops of joy” experience through a unique, new TikTok effect to help create moments of kindness. The effect prompts a random act of kindness to fans and those around them.
