Glazer’s Inc., Dallas, consolidated its fine wine divisions under the new name of D&E Fine Wine Group. Previously known by several different names including Domaines & Estates, Family & Estates, In Vie, and 55 Degrees, the company is unifying these brands to build a new identity, it says. In addition, Glazer’s designed a new logo to portray the fine wine group’s new image, it notes.

“Glazer’s genuinely has an interest in allocating resources to the fine wine business, and our management team is committed to its outstanding brand quality and service excellence,” said Jim Oliver, senior vice president of D&E Fine Wine Group, in a statement. “While the D&E branding is new, the quality of the products we represent and our current and future commitment to our employees, customers, suppliers and prospective suppliers remains the same. We have a new name and a new logo, but our organizational structure and goals are unchanged and are a vital part of our company’s culture.”

Along with Oliver, Vice President and Director of Winery Relations Bill Cascio as well as Director of Imports Alfonso Cevola will lead the new group.

Mike McLaughlin, Glazer’s executive vice president of sales, added in a statement, “We are dedicated to excellent customer service, laser-focused on developing one-on-one relationships with our wineries, and committed to investing in the people, training and knowledge of how to sell fine wines.”

Glazer’s President and Chief Executive Officer Sheldon Stein echoed the sentiment stating, “Our employees, key suppliers, and on- and off-premise customers will continue to experience the Glazer’s spirit of partnership and service as we roll out our D&E Fine Wine Group name nationally.”
