Heineken USA Inc., a subsidiary of Heineken International BV, launched limited-edition Newcastle Bombshell pale blonde ale. Available through July, Newcastle Bombshell is an English-style blonde ale featuring a combination of Cascade, Hallertau and Northdown hops. The ale contains 4.4 percent alcohol by volume and 28 International Bittering Units (IBUs). Newcastle Bombshell is available nationally in six-packs and 12-packs priced comparably to Newcastle Brown Ale. It also can be found on draught in most markets.
