Full Sail Brewing Co. released the newest beer in its Brewer’s Share Series: Vendell Veizen Weizen Bock, developed by the company’s Assistant Packaging Supervisor Wendell Bryant. With 7.2 percent alcohol by volume and 21 International Bittering units, the bock-style wheat beer has a reddish-amber color and features tropical fruit flavors with a slight malt sweetness, the company says. The beer is available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the beer is donated to the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute.
