Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co., a division of MillerCoors’ Tenth and Blake Brewing Co., announced the return of 1888 Bock as its spring seasonal. Leinenkugel’s 1888 Bock is a full-bodied beer heavily defined by the Munich malts and its 20- to 25-day cold lagering process, which creates a smooth, toasted malt flavor, the company says. It also features Caramel, Pale and two-row Chocolate malts along with Cluster hops that add a touch of citrus character, it says. The beer is brewed in small batches at Leinenkugel’s brewery in Chippewa Falls, Wis., and will be available on draft and in six- and 12-pack bottles. Leinenkugel’s 1888 Bock is available for $6.49 to $7.99 for each six-pack.
