Redco Foods Inc. added three all-natural blends to its Salada Green Tea line. Brain Boost features ginkgo biloba, ginseng, rosemary, gotu kola and lemon flavor; Digestive Support is decaffeinated and contains ginger, fennel and peppermint with apple and honey flavors; and Metabolism includes peppermint, dandelion root, artichoke leaves, nettle and green tea extract with apricot flavor. The new Salada Green Tea products were taste-tested by focus groups and through in-home samplings with members of Salada’s Tea Lovers Club. This consumer input, combined with flavor trend research, was instrumental in the flavor selection for this new line, the company says. A 20-count box of the tea has a suggested retail price of $3.
