To celebrate its 23^rd birthday, Deschutes Brewery launched Black Butte XXIII, a double porter with flavors of spicy chili, orange and chocolate, the company says. The beer, which is aged in bourbon barrels for six months, contains 10.8 percent alcohol by volume and has 60 international bittering units. A 22-ounce wax-dipped bottle has a suggested retail price of $11.99.
