Refrigerator controller
New Avionics Corp. launched its Ice*Meister Model 9734-REFR Adaptive De-Frost Controller. The company says the De-Frost Controller is for walk-in refrigerators and freezers, reach-in refrigerated display cases, air conditioners, compressors, HVAC systems and other self-defrosting chiller systems in supermarkets, restaurants, school cafeterias, convenience stores, household refrigerators and deep freezers. By controlling and minimizing frost accumulations on refrigerator evaporator coils and fins, the De-Frost Controller can provide energy savings, the company says.

Wrap-around label system
EPI Labelers introduced its new wrap-around bottle labeling system. The system is designed for accuracy, durability and ease of use, the company says. This bottle labeling system features a self-calibrating bottle labeler. All functions on the bottle labeler are controlled by a color touch screen HMI.

Distribution carts
Cannon Equipment unveiled two CannonCarts for distribution, stocking and work-in-process applications for retailers and manufacturers. The V-Nest Distribution Cart combines the hauling features of a heavy-duty distribution cart with 1,200 pounds of load capacity with the locking features of a security cart, the company says. It is a four-sided cart with four doors, two on top and two on the bottom. The Z-Nest Stocking and Distribution Cart is designed to combine distribution and security requirement, but is intended for smaller loads, the company says. It features a “Z” base design for compact storage and an intermediate wire shelf. Other features include a 1,000-pound load capacity and four doors, accessed from either side for security and product containment.

Keeping things clean
Graco Inc. introduced its new SaniForce line of sanitary transfer pumps, including drum and bin unloaders. These products can easily move a broad range of viscosities, the company says. The piston pumps have pressure ratios up to 12:1 and are ideal for low- to medium-viscosity materials. The air-operated double diaphragm pumps have flow rates up to 150 gallons a minute and are best suited for low- to medium-viscosity materials. Drum unloaders can evacuate medium- to high-viscosity products from their original 55-gallon containers, without diluting the material. Bin Evacuation Systems are designed to eliminate manual scooping and bin dumping by unloading materials efficiently from 300-gallon bag-in-bin containers.
