Peter B’s Brewpub, Monterey’s first craft brewery located behind Portola Hotel & Spa in Monterey, Calif., is milling, mashing and brewing up its 4th Annual Monterey Beer Garden. This event will take place at Custom House Plaza on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, from noon to 4 p.m. Beer enthusiasts and food devotees can enjoy an afternoon of unlimited beer tasting from some of the best craft breweries in the area and enjoy a BBQ prepared by Portola Hotel & Spa’s Executive Chef Jason Giles.

Peter B’s Brewpub is showcasing its own creations alongside beers from Stone Brewing Co., Boulder Creek Brewing Co., Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing, Drake’s Brewing, Uncommon Brewers, and many more. Guests will have the opportunity to socialize with local brewers as they pour their brews for visitors. Live rock and blues will be served up by Velvet Plum, and 102.1 KRML will broadcast live from the Brewpub.

Proceeds from the 4th Annual Monterey Beer Garden will benefit Save Our Shores, a nonprofit marine conservation organization that has protected and promoted the ecological integrity of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary for the past 30 years.
