Sales from high-end premium and super-premium products are fueling a large portion of growth in the spirits industry. When it comes to the tequila segment, the same trend holds true. According to the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States, U.S. tequila volume from the high-end premium and super-premium sub-categories are up 238 and nearly 652 percent, respectively, from 2002 to 2015.

Sonoma Cider announced the addition of a spirit to its portfolio: Apple Brandy, a Calvados-inspired organic brandy that launched May 1 and is the company’s first foray into the craft spirits market, it says. 

Agness Wine Cellars announced the release of its first vintage: 2015 Finger Lakes Semi-Dry Riesling. 

FrÏs Vodka, a brand of Pernod Ricard USA, announced the release of FrÏs Cooling Pineapple in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.
