Portfolio of specialty products to bolster distributor’s craft beer and spirit offerings

In a new agreement, Ashland, Ore.-based Rogue Ales & Spirits and Missouri Beverage (MoBev), St. Louis, will join forces to distribute the craft beer and spirits manufacturer’s products statewide. Although Rogue is not new to the Missouri market, the partnership provides further opportunities to build the company’s craft beer and spirit brands, it says.
Castle Brands Inc., a New York City-based developer and international marketer of premium and super-premium branded spirits, reported financial results for the three- and nine-month periods ending Dec. 31, 2013.

London-based Diageo plc announced the official start of its Orphan Barrel Whiskey Distilling Co. The Tullahoma, Tenn.-based venture aims to locate lost and forgotten barrels of whiskey from around the world and share them with the growing base of whiskey aficionados in the United States, the company says.
Campari America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Davide Campari-Milano S.p.A., together with its affiliate Gruppo Campari, will add Irish Mist Irish Whiskey to its whiskey portfolio.

American distilled spirits exports broke new records in 2013, crossing the $1.5 billion threshold, according to the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS), New York. This growth was driven by premium bourbon and Tennessee whiskey, which exceeded the $1 billion mark for the first time, it reported at its annual briefing for Wall Street analysts.
Proximo launched Tincup American Whiskey, which is made with Rocky Mountain water and a blend of corn, rye and malt for a bolder, spicier taste than other American whiskeys, the company says.

Chicken Cock Distillers, a Charleston, S.C.-based division of wine and spirits brand developer Island Club Brands, unveiled its Chicken Cock Whiskey brand as the sponsor of professional bull rider (PBR) Reese Cates at the 2014 PBR Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) season opener.
Johnnie Walker, a Scotch whisky label imported by Diageo North America, redesigned its Johnnie Walker Red Label bottle to match the other whiskey blends in the portfolio.
