Dos Equis, a brand of White Plains, N.Y.-based Heineken USA, is saying #AdiosAmigo to The Most Interesting Man in the World, as he heads on a one-way Mission to Mars. The latest spot from Dos Equis, Mission to Mars, will be the last commercial featuring actor Jonathan Goldsmith as The Most Interesting Man in the World. 

Constellation Brands Inc., Chicago, announced that internationally-renowned soccer players Clint Dempsey and Miguel Layún will serve as brand ambassadors for Modelo Especial, a pilsner-style lager brewed for 90 years in Mexico. The brand, which recently became the second most imported beer in the United States, has partnered with Dempsey and Layún as part of its summer marketing campaign, which began this month and centers around the sport of soccer.

Anheuser-Busch launched a new beer, Oculto, inspired by and brewed for nightlife. “Oculto,” which means “hidden,” or “waiting to be found,” in Spanish, combines the social invitation of beer with the exciting nature associated with tequila, the company says.

Heineken USA is bringing back its Beers of Mexico Fiesta Pack with a limited-edition offering of Dos Equis Azul, a signature lager featuring golden wheat and blue agave nectar, along with Dos Equis Lager, Tecate and Sol Mexican beers.

As premiumization continues to impact the beer market, imported beers have found favor with consumers.
