Dill pickles, cookie dough, and peanut butter and jelly hardly sound like inspiration for adult beverages, but each of the aforementioned flavors were launched by vodka-makers within the last year. As these new product introductions show, one of the largest trends in the spirits category is unusual flavors, analysts say.
Sazerac Co. introduced a new line of Naked Jay vodkas. The three varieties: Vodka, Big Dill pickle flavored vodka and Whip Cream flavored vodka, are distilled four times.

That approach helped the company to develop its newest variety, Bloody Mary flavored vodka. While many flavored vodkas are formulated around sweet combinations, Belvedere wanted its focus to be on something different.
Patti Stanger, star of Bravo's "Millionaire Matchmaker" is partnering with Pucker Vodka for its "Break Up and Match Up" program. Beginning in June, Stanger will use her unique talent to pair fun and flirty flavored-vodka drinkers' personalities with equally spirited cocktails made from Pucker Vodka, a brand of Deerfield-based Beam Global Spirits & Wine.
Heaven Hill Distillery added a Whipped Cream flavor to its Burnett’s vodka line. The all-natural flavor line includes a total 24 flavors. Burnett’s Whipped Cream Flavored Vodka is available 50-ml., 750-ml., 1-liter and 1.75-liter bottles.
