SmartRIP is an innovative inkjet raster image processer (RIP) for OEMs and integrators, and is a GPU-native RIP, the company says. The inkjet delivers exceptional performance and scalability for a wide range of industrial printing applications, offering a streamlined feature set and optimized pricing designed specifically for the broader industrial print market, rather than high-end digital presses for label and packaging applications, it notes. “With SmartRIP, we’ve taken the award-winning, proven technology from SmartDFE, which powers high-end digital presses, and streamlined it for a wider range of industrial applications,” Justin Bailey, managing director, said in a statement. “OEMs and integrators can now deliver exceptional print quality faster, with less complexity and at a lower cost.
