Josh Cellars is diversifying its portfolio with two new varietals: Bourbon Barrel Aged Zinfandel and Buttery Chardonnay. Both wines are part of the Josh Cellars Reserve Collection, which is crafted to the highest standards using grapes from California’s most prestigious growing regions, the company says. Leaning into niche flavor profiles, the Bourbon Barrel Aged Zinfandel and Buttery Chardonnay are unique new selections, it adds. The Bourbon Barrel Aged Zinfandel, aged for two months in charred bourbon barrels is vibrant and spicy, with bold flavors of cracked black pepper and licorice, complemented by notes of vanilla and blackberry, resulting in a full-bodied velvety wine, it says. Meanwhile the Buttery Chardonnay is a rich selection that exudes notes of ripe fruit, crème brûlée, roasted marshmallow and butterscotch. Josh Cellars Bourbon Barrel Aged Zinfandel is available to purchase for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $19.99 a bottle, while the Buttery Chardonnay has an SRP of $16.99. Josh Cellars is available nationwide on Drizly, Total Wine, Minibar and Wine.com, and ships direct-to-consumer through the company’s website.
