Prestige Beverage Group announced the addition of Prosecco Rosé D.O.C to its line of Astoria Italian wines available in the United States. Astoria Prosecco Rosé D.O.C. is made up of 85% Glera and 15% Pinot Noir, and has aromas of red fruit and flowers, followed by flavors of bright cherries and hints of strawberry, and finishes creamy, the company says. The new wine joins the current Astoria wine offerings: Spago Prosecco D.O.C.; Prosecco D.O.C.; “Alisia” Pinot Grigio D.O.C.; “Caranto” Pinot Noir; “Icona” Cabernet Sauvignon; Primo Rosso; Sparkling Moscato; and Sparkling Moscato Rosé. Astoria’s new Prosecco Rosé D.O.C. is available nationally through Prestige Beverage Group, packaged in 750-ml bottles, with a suggested retail price of $14.99.
