Renowned American actress and singer Chrissy Metz, announced the launch of The Joyful Heart Wine Co., Santa Margarita, Calif. In collaboration with award-winning winemaker Nicole Walsh, the new wine collection presents: Joyful Heart Red Blend, Joyful Heart White Blend and Limited Reserve Red Blend.

Joyful Heart Wine Co. celebrates the union of sharing wine and the spirit of generosity, according to the company. As part of this spirit, a portion of every bottle sold is donated to World Central Kitchen, a nonprofit organization that uses the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies in times of crisis and beyond, it notes.

“These wines hold a special place in my heart, and it's been amazing to watch our collective vision become a reality. Born out of my desire to live from the heart, to create purposeful moments, give back to the community, and to share delicious wine with loved ones, Joyful Heart Wine Co. has been a dream of mine for many years,” said Metz, founder of Joyful Heart Wine Co., in a statement. “For me, a Joyful Heart is a reminder of the importance of breaking bread together, sharing in community, and knowing that we are all deeply loved.”

Joyful Heart Red Blend combines Cabernet, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Petite Sirah, with notes of dark berry flavors, the company says. Joyful Heart White Blend is rooted in Sauvignon Blanc with a splash of Chardonnay and a mix of white peach, tropical fruits and fresh flowers, it adds. Meanwhile, Limited Reserve Red Blend is a full bodied wine, with notes of blueberry, black cherry, cedar and plum that is fermented in small lots using handcrafted winemaking techniques and matured for 22 months in a combination of new and seasoned two-year-old and neutral French Oak Barrels, it says.  Each Joyful Heart Blend is available in a 750-ml bottle for purchase on the company’s website, JoyfulHeartWine.com. The Joyful Heart Red and White Blends are available for $16 and the Limited Reserve Red Blend can be purchased for $40 a bottle.
