Tubing manufacturer NewAge Industries Inc. has upgraded its Clearflo PVC tubing to a version free of phthalates. Developed in response to customers’ interest in fluid transfer products that do not contain leachable phthalates such as DEHP (Di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate) or BPA (bisphenol A), Clearflo 70 is NSF-51 listed for use with food equipment, and its non-toxic ingredients conform to FDA standards, while also meeting USP Class VI requirements. Not only does the Clearflo 70 remove potential health hazards from DEHP, BPA and other phthalates, but the tubing features a smooth surface and glass-like clarity to enable users to view fluid flow, while the flexible, lightweight material is abrasion-resistant and equipped to handle a variety of chemicals, gases and liquids. Clearflow 70 is available in 50 sizes ranging from 1/16 of an inch through two inches, with larger sizes available.
