Mezcal El Samaritano recently released several new spirits: Espadin, Tobalá, Ensamble and Mexicano. The mezcal is owned and produced by the Maestro Mezcalero Ambrosio Martinez Blas in Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca, and is made from the high-quality agave plants in Oaxaca to produce the 40 percent alcohol-by-volume spirit, the company says. Each variety is available in a 750-ml bottle for a suggested retail price of $35.
