With summer in full force, consumers continue to thirst for the refreshing taste of water including flavored waters with in innovative flavors. In the Readers’ Choice: New Product of the Month poll for May, the readers selected WTRMLN WTR as their favorite new product release.

With 18 percent of the vote, WTRML WTR and its four new flavors: Blood Orange, Cucumber, Mint and Cayenne hit store shelves in May. Each flavor delivers natural electrolytes from the watermelon (flesh and rind) and contains juices and extracts for maximum functionality, the company says. WTRMLN WTR is available nationally in 12-ounce bottles, for a suggested retail price of $3.99.

In a four-way tie for second this month were Ulee’s Bing Cherry Light Cider, Kabaki Kenyan Purple Tea, Mancan Rosé and SKYY Sun-Ripened Watermelon. Each received 14 percent of the vote, respectively.
