Double Cola celebrates SKI brand’s 60th anniversary
Company launches anniversary sweepstakes
Chattanooga, Tenn.-based The Double Cola Co. announced it will be celebrating its brand SKI’s 60th anniversary during the upcoming summer. Launched on Aug. 10, 1956, SKI citrus soda is crafted with real lemons and oranges, the company says.
In honor of the brand’s anniversary, the company is partnering with Visit Myrtle Beach to promote SKI’s 60th Anniversary Sweepstakes. Beginning May 1, the company will conduct a 60-day spree of 60 giveaways, including four grand prize trips to Myrtle Beach, it says. Along with the all-expenses-paid trip, other prizes include an Anniversary Edition SKI bicycle, antique logo signage and free SKI beverages, it adds.
Consumers can participate by going to the sweepstakes entry page, www.60yearsofSKI.com, and submit three words they would use to describe their SKI experience, the company says.
“We are very grateful to celebrate this brand’s success and history,” said Gina Dhanani, vice president of The Double Cola Co., in a statement. “It gives us a chance to give back to our loyal fans who have been drinking SKI for several generations.”
