Double Cola announces ‘The Great Outdoors Sweepstakes’

Brand partners with L2 Boards to promote water sports

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based The Double Cola Co.’s Double Cola brand launched “The Great Outdoors Sweepstakes,” a promotion encouraging Chattanooga and the surrounding area consumers to celebrate the outdoor lifestyle. The sweepstakes is hosted in partnership with L2 Boards, an outdoor retailer also based in Chattanooga that offers stand-up paddle board (SUP) and kayak rentals and lessons as well as longboards and slacklines for purchase.

Fans can visit participating Bi Lo stores, which are listed on the Double Cola website, as well as L2 Boards now through Oct. 13 to enter. “The Great Outdoor Sweepstakes” grand prize includes a paddle board valued at $899, an L2 Boards SUP excursion for four, as well as Double Cola products and merchandise. One first prize winner will receive a $100 Bi Lo gift card and $75 worth of Double Cola products and branded merchandise.

“The Double Cola brand is all about getting off the beaten path and giving consumers a little something out of the ordinary,” said Megan Hallar, marketing coordinator for Double Cola, in a statement. “We wanted to help promote an up-and-coming outdoor retailer, and L2 Boards was the perfect one for us. Together we are encouraging locals to give SUP, the world’s fastest-growing water sport, a chance.”
