Latitude Beverage Co., Boston, announced the national rollout of its Mija Sangria, a bottled Sangria made with 100percent unfiltered fruit juice. After selling out of 18,200 cases in its first six months across a dozen states last year, Latitude Beverage Co. says it expects to sell more than 50,000 cases this summer through its expanded distribution. In addition, a 1.5-liter Mija Sangria flip-top bottle also will roll out this summer, it adds.

“Mija Sangria was created in pursuit of serving an underdeveloped category for savvy drinkers favoring premium craft drinks,” said Kevin Mehra, president and co-founder of Latitude Beverage Co., in a statement. “As a result, Mija Sangria combines traditional homemade taste with on-the-go convenience, both of which are important to people who love to entertain with effortless style. We look forward to bringing Mija Sangria to even more markets this year and toasting summer with a drink that is truly the life of the party.”
Made with premium dry red wine and unfiltered, all-natural raw fruit juices, Mija Sangria contains no artificial additives, preservatives or sweeteners, the company says. Packed with antioxidants from super fruits, including pomegranate, acai and blood orange, Mija Sangria offers the juice and pulp of homemade Sangria, it adds.

The 9.5 percent alcohol-by-volume Mija Sangria is packaged in 750-ml bottles and 1.5-liter flip-top bottles that retail for $10.99 and $16.99, respectively. Mija Sangria is available nationally at retail locations and online for direct shipping in 32 states across the United States.
