Starbucks Christmas BlendIn celebration of the upcoming holiday season, Seattle-based Starbucks Coffee Co. will kick off its Share Event in participating U.S. stores. By bringing a friend to these select stores from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. between Nov. 13 and 17, consumers can receive a free holiday beverage when purchasing another holiday drink of equal or greater value. Beverages include Starbucks’ Gingerbread Latte, Caramel Brulée Latte, Peppermint Mocha, Skinny Peppermint Mocha and Eggnog Latte.

Additionally, Starbucks is bringing back its Christmas Blend for the 29th year. The seasonal coffee combines the liveliness of Latin American coffees with the smoothness of Asia-Pacific coffees and aged Sumatra beans, the company says. Starbucks Christmas Blend also is available in Starbucks Via Ready Brew, decaf, K-Cup packs and Verismo pod formats. Also returning this season for a limited time is Starbucks Christmas Blend Espresso Roast, Starbucks Holiday Blonde Roast and Starbucks Via Peppermint Mocha flavored coffee.

In addition to offering a variety of coffee and tea gifts in its stores, Starbucks this year debuted a collection of limited-edition pieces designed exclusively for Starbucks by Stacey Bendet, founder and designer of alice + olivia. The collection includes a Starbucks Double Wall Ceramic Mug by alice + olivia and a Designer Girl Bearista Bear. Starbucks also introduced its new Red Cup Mini Starbucks Card. Inspired by Starbucks’ signature red cup for the holiday season, the Starbucks Card can double as a gift tag or be used as a Christmas tree ornament. Consumers also can send coffee gifts to loved ones digitally with the Starbucks Card eGift.

“The holidays represent the most magical time of the year, and we are honored that our customers choose to make Starbucks a part of their holiday celebrations — whether that’s gathering with loved ones in our stores, enjoying a Gingerbread Latte respite during their holiday shopping, or bringing home a package of Christmas Blend for holiday entertaining,” said Cliff Burrows, Starbucks group president for the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa, in a statement. “Our store partners are excited to be a part of our customers’ lives as they share joy with others, and we hope that we also bring cheer to our customers and community during the holiday season and all year long.”
