Designs by Lolita Inc., known for its hand-painted wine glasses, launched a collection of Italian wines under the Wines by Lolita name. Designed with the female wine consumer in mind, the wines feature an illustration of Founder Lolita Healy on the label and are available in Ravishing Red, Witty White and Winter Sparkling varieties. Lolita Ravishing Red is an Italian Primitivo featuring flavors of red fruit and liqueur cherries and plums, the company says. Lolita Witty White is an Italian Falanghina comprised of 100 percent Italian Falanghina grapes from Campania. Lolita Winter Sparkling is an Italian Aglianico made from Aglianico grapes harvested in the Campanian region in southern Italy. The Ravishing Red and Witty White wines are available in 375-ml bottles for $11.99 and in 750-ml bottles for $19.99. A 375-ml bottle of Lolita Winter Sparkling retails for approximately $12.99, and a 750-ml bottle has a suggested retail price of $21.99. The wines are available online and throughout New England.
