The Reston, Va.-based Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI), owner and producer of the Pack Expo banner of trade shows, announced that the International Society of Beverage Technologists (ISBT), Dallas, will sponsor its Beverage Cooler Lounge, which will debut during Pack Expo International, Oct. 28-31, at Chicago’s McCormick Place.

“The beverage market is a core segment for packaging and processing, and with the addition of the Beverage Cooler Lounge, we’re expanding our customer-centric strategy for the show,” said Charles D. Yuska, president and chief executive officer of PMMI, in a statement. “We are very pleased ISBT is working with us on the launch of this new resource for beverage industry attendees at Pack Expo.”

The Beverage Cooler Lounge will be a central networking location that provides beverage industry professionals a place on the show floor to connect and find insight on the latest trends in the marketplace.

“ISBT is excited to partner with PMMI to create even more value for the beverage community at Pack Expo by sponsoring the Beverage Cooler Lounge,” said Larry Hobbs, executive director of ISBT, in a statement. “ISBT, as the premiere international society for the beverage industry, joining PMMI, the world leader in packaging and processing, provides a strong value proposition to bring the beverage industry together.”
