Heineken Light uses NYC billboard for surprise performance

Heineken Light uses NYC billboard for surprise performanceIn collaboration with Brooklyn-based indie-rock band TV on the Radio, Heineken Light transformed its “Occasionally Perfect” billboard in New York City into a stage where the band gave a surprise live performance this weekend.

TV on the Radio played a collection of songs, including “Young Liars,” “Staring at the Sun,” “Repetition” and “Wolf Like Me” for thousands of New Yorkers. For a video of the performance, visit www.youtube.com/heinekenusa.

The billboard is the latest installment of the Heineken Light "Occasionally Perfect" campaign that launched earlier this summer, featuring TV spots, digital placements and, now, surprise live events.

The “Occasionally Perfect” billboard will remain in New York City for one more week before heading west to its next destination in September. Information about the “Occasionally Perfect” billboard and when the next “perfect” occasion might take place is available on the Heineken Light Facebook page. Fans also can watch for the hash tag #OccasionallyPerfect on Twitter.
