Lifeway Foods released Green Kefir with Phytoboost in Kiwi Passion Fruit and Pomegranate Acai Blueberry flavors. Green Kefir combines the company’s probiotic-rich cultured dairy kefir with Lifeway’s Proprietary blend of phytonutrients called Phytoboost that deliver the antioxidant power of 10 green vegetables plus green tea extract in a single serving, the company says. It also provides 100 percent of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recommended daily value of vitamin C, 20 percent of vitamin A and 30 percent of vitamin E. The product is USDA certified organic and is available May 1 in 32-ounce bottles for $4.49.
