Bahama Breeze’s International Pineapple Day celebration honored two of its regular cocktails: Painkiller and Goombay Smash.
Bahama Breeze’s Goombay Smash was inspired by a cocktail from Blue Bee Bar in the Bahamas. Its twist on the tropical cocktail mixes spiced and dark rums, orange juice and pineapple juice.
Bahama Breeze’s Painkiller cocktail recipe comes from the Soggy Dollar Bar in the British Virgin Islands and features dark rum, cream of coconut, as well as orange and pineapple juices. Bahama Breeze’s version also is garnished with a fresh pineapple wedge and fresh-ground nutmeg.
Guests wanting to toast the celebration without alcohol also could enjoy Bahama Breeze’s selection of non-alcohol tropical drinks (left) instead of the pineapple cocktails (right).
