When it launched five years ago, Suja Life LLC was focused on bringing organic, cold-pressed and high-pressure processed (HPP) juices to a broader consumer base. Now, the Oceanside, Calif.-based company has spread its wings to deliver the same quality and health benefits to more beverage categories through its new 200,000-square-foot facility.
Health and wellness remains an overarching driving factor in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) market today. As such, consumers have increasingly grown cautious of the products that they put in their bodies, with a growing number avoiding sugar-sweetened beverages. But one brand is tackling this issue by trying to reinvent the juice category.
Building a successful brand isn’t San Diego-based Suja Life LLC’s only mission. For those in the company, it’s about more than the product. “From a company standpoint, we want to make a difference in the lives of our consumers,” Suja’s Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Jeff Church says.

Suja Life LLC, San Diego, announced an investment and distribution partnership with Atlanta-based The Coca Cola Co. The Coca-Cola Co.'s minority investment will increase the availability of Suja, moving the juice brand closer to achieving its mission of democratizing organic, cold-pressured juice, the company says.
