Lausanne, Switzerland-based Nespresso announced that its Nespresso Professional brand launched Peru Organic, the first certified organic Nespresso coffee, it says. The addition of Peru Organic is part of a revamp of the brand's Professional Origins coffee range, which includes three other single-origin coffees sourced from Brazil, Guatemala and India. All four are designed for Nespresso Professional coffee machines, including the recently launched Nespresso Momento machine range.
In partnership with AMUCC empowering female organic coffee farmers in Colombia, Groundwork Coffee Co. launched a bottled, single-origin Colombia-AMUCC cold brew, the first in their new Single Origin Cold Brew Series.
7-Eleven Inc., Plano, Texas, introduced its second single-origin coffee. Hailing from the Chiapas region of Mexico, the sustainable, premium coffee is Rainforest Alliance Certified and exclusively available at participating 7-Eleven stores. Last fall, the convenience store retailer introduced its first single-origin coffee, which is sourced from Nicaragua.
This month, Starbucks Coffee Co. is expanding its coffee portfolio with three new single-origin coffees that each showcase the distinctive characteristics of the places where they were grown.
In celebration of National Coffee Month in August, Canton, Mass.-based Dunkin’ Brands introduced its new Colombian Packaged Coffee under the Dunkin’ Donuts brand name.
