Event marks 1st in-person gathering for association members since pandemic’s onset

The National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) kicked off its 84th Annual Convention and Trade Show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Held annually, the convention brings beer distributors together from across the country to discuss the future of the industry. This year’s event marks the first time NBWA members will be able to assemble in person since the onset of the pandemic.
The 2019 NACS Show delivered four days of learnings, insights, networking and exploring what’s new for the global convenience and fuel retailing industry.
At its 81st Convention, the National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Craig Purser and outgoing NBWA Chairman Jim Matesich, CEO of Matesich Distributing, welcomed a crowd of more than 1,600 people and highlighted the many accomplishments of the industry during the past year.
The National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) welcomed many to the 80th Annual Convention and Trade Show, which took place Oct. 8-11 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
The Alexandria, Va.-based National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) hosted its 79th Annual Convention, Sept. 25-28 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Attendees learned about important issues that beer distributors and the industry are facing and sampled new products during a two-day Product Demonstration Showcase that included more than 160 exhibitors, including 35 breweries, highlighting more than 100 labels of beer.
