Juice brand to give away hundreds of bottles as promotion
October 28, 2014
Old Orchard Brands LLC, Sparta, Mich., introduced a new line of limited-edition fruit juice cocktails that highlight fall flavors — specifically, fall desserts. The new lineup includes Apple Pie, Caramel Apple and Apple Cherry Cobbler fruit juice cocktails, which will be available during November and December in 64-ounce multi-serve bottles for a suggested retail price of $1.99 a bottle.
On Oct. 1, Federal Way, Wash.-based Fresh Matters LLC will bring back its limited-edition, seasonal Honeycrisp apple juice under its ‘tude Juice portfolio. The cold-pressed, never-heated juice rejoins the brand’s five other apple juices and 10 apple and fruit juice blends, which currently are available in 1,500 stores across the country.
BYB Brands Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, added a seasonal flavor to its Tum-E Yummies line of fruit-flavored kids drinks.
Although craft beer case and dollar sales came in at a distant third to domestics and imports during the 52 weeks ending Dec. 29, 2013, in Information Resources Inc. (IRI)-measured channels, the burgeoning segment is making strides to garner more of that market share.
