Hamilton, Bermuda-based Bacardi Ltd. announced the release of Smart Cube technology from Martini. The traditional ice cube-shaped device can be added to a drink in addition to regular, square ice cubes.
Technological changes in beverage processes, machinery and manufacturing methods constantly are evolving into new or different designs, improved methods and procedures, faster and more flexible configurations, cost-effective projects, and in response to consumer preferences or agency regulations.

Drinktec 2013, which took place Sept. 16-20 in Munich, attracted 66,886 visitors from 183 countries, representing a 14 percent increase in attendance compared with drinktec 2009.
