Hamilton, Bermuda-based Bacardi Ltd. announced the release of Smart Cube technology from Martini. The traditional ice cube-shaped device can be added to a drink in addition to regular, square ice cubes.

To this day, Mike and Lisa Hinckley, founders of San Diego-based craft brewery Green Flash Brewing Co. take every measure they can to keep their beer-first philosophy at the heart of all they do.
Drinktec 2013, which took place Sept. 16-20 in Munich, attracted 66,886 visitors from 183 countries, representing a 14 percent increase in attendance compared with drinktec 2009. Of these visitors, 62 percent traveled from countries outside of Germany, with 16 percent of the total visitors traveling from the United States.
