BrewDog IPA pays tribute to Chinook hops

BrewDog USA unveils ‘How Do You IPA?’ campaign

BrewDog USA released its newest Headliner beer: BrewDog IPA. A piney, smooth and hoppy IPA is a tribute to the Chinook hops.

BrewDog IPA has a 6.3% ABV with 45 IBUs, delivering an experience that balances bright tropical and citrus notes with subtle pine and a clean, mellow bitterness, the company says. Dry-hopped with Chinook and Citra, and built on a foundation of Carafoam, Pilsner, and Barley malts, this new addition to BrewDog’s lineup offers a bold but accessible hop-forward profile, it adds.

“This is our first major IPA launch since Elvis Juice and Hazy Jane, and we’ve poured our passion for hops into every can,” said Eric Franco, chief sales and marketing officer for BrewDog USA, in a statement. “With BrewDog IPA, we’re inviting drinkers to experience the spirit of IPA in a way that’s bold, balanced, and distinctly BrewDog.”

BrewDog IPA is a beer that gets back to basics — clean, crisp, and crafted to be enjoyed on any occasion, the company says. BrewDog’s new American IPA features bold, modern packaging that highlights its hop-forward character, complete with striking green tones and a premium matte finish.

Adding to the fun is the campaign’s core question — “How Do You IPA?” — which invites fans to explore and share their IPA personalities by filling in the I_P_A blanks. BrewDog’s How Do You IPA? campaign puts the spotlight on personality, featuring team members and real fans sharing how they “IPA” in their own way.

A new commercial, filmed at BrewDog’s Atlanta bar, highlights everything from “"Irresistibly Pleasing Appetizers"” and “I Prefer Adventure” to “I’ll Pour Another” and even “I Pay Alimony.” The standout moment? A live alpaca cameo for the fan-favorite punchline: “I Pet Alpacas.” Because if an alpaca can walk into a bar, why can’t your IPA story be just as unforgettable?

Consumers also can enter to win a stay at The DogHouse Hotel, located at BrewDog’s HQ in Columbus, Ohio. From shower beers on tap to a full brewery campus at your doorstep, one lucky winner will score the ultimate beer-lover’s getaway by visiting howdoyouipa.com to enter.

BrewDog IPA is available in six-packs, 12-packs, 19.2-ounce single cans, and on draught.
