Wormtown Brewery announced the launch of its new brand, SHOOK, with two initial flavors: Cape Codder and Mai Tai.
With an 8% ABV, SHOOK is made from real fruit juice and fermented cane sugar, are gluten free and non-GMO, the company notes.
SHOOK grew out of experiments at the Wormtown Brewery in 2020, it says. As the brewery team was looking at creating a new drink with a neutral base that would also be gluten free, it found fermenting cane sugar gave them a solid base to work off of and build flavors onto, it adds.
Packaged in 16-ounce cans, SHOOK is available to purchase in four-packs in the local New England market. Store locators can be found by visiting the company’s website.
