Antares Vision develops Raised Stopper Inspection machine
Machine inspects up to 300 units a minute
A global leader in visual inspection systems, track and trace solutions and smart data management, Antares Vision developed a new Raised Stopper Inspection (RSI) machine to verify proper sealing of freeze-dried vials. Functioning as a standalone machine, the RSI is designed for installation in A-Grade-A cleanrooms and operates by a laminar airflow. With an overall length of just 76 centimeters, the RSI machine can be installed in existing lines, the company says. To identify stoppers not wholly adhered to the vial collar, the machine features a 1 mm detection threshold and can inspect as many as 300 units a minute. The module is compatible with a wide array of vials, spanning from 10-300 ml with a 20-32 mm cap range.
