MW Imports, a division of Mionetto USA, imported the 2012 vintage Rocca Sveva Castelcerino Soave Superiore DOCG into the U.S. market. The white wine originates in the Castelcerino cru, a cluster of vineyards located more than 1,000 feet above sea level about 5 miles from Soave, a town located in the Veneto region of Italy. The wine features notes of yellow plum, quince, sage, spice and citrus with an almond finish, the company says. A 750-ml bottle retails for approximately $20.
