Absolut ChicagoPernod Ricard USA, New York, announced the latest limited-edition, city-inspired flavor in its Absolut Vodka portfolio: Absolut Chicago.

Absolut Chicago is infused with olive and rosemary flavors and can be used to make cocktails like martinis, Bloody Marys and lemonade simple serve, the company says. It is packaged in Absolut’s signature glass bottle featuring a design that was crowdsourced through a partnership with Chicago-based design community Threadless.

More than 170 designs were submitted and more than 156,000 votes were cast for the bottle design. Ross Bruggink, 26, described his winning design as a "stylized cityscape incorporating architectural and iconic elements of Chicago."

Maxime Kouchnir, vice president of vodkas at Pernod Ricard USA, said in a statement: "Absolut Chicago is a product of creativity and collaboration. By putting the bottle design in the hands of artists, Absolut Chicago inspired hundreds of people to express their creativity through an unexpected canvas."

Absolut Chicago is the seventh flavor in the brand's city-inspired flavor portfolio, which launched in 2007 with the introduction of Absolut New Orleans. Other limited-edition flavors have included Absolut Los Angeles, Absolut Boston, Absolut Brooklyn, Absolut SF and Absolut Miami.

Absolut Chicago is available in 750-ml bottles with a suggested retail price of $19.99. For more information, visit www.absolut.com/chicago.
