In August, Founders Brewing Co. will launch Inspired Artist Black IPA, which is made with malted midnight wheat and a variety of hops with tropical characteristics. It contains 7.5 percent alcohol by volume and 88 International Bittering Units. Proceeds from the sale of the beer will benefit ArtPrize, an open art competition, which takes place annually in Grand Rapids, Mich. A six-pack of 12-ounce bottles will have a suggested retail price of $9.99.
