, Muscle Shoals, Ala., launched its new Web site, aleco.com. The new site offers enhanced navigation, complete product descriptions, specification sheets, installation guides and sell sheets as well as dealer and media information centers.
The Material Handling and Logistics Association, Charlotte, N.C., shared the results of its summit held in June. Attendees created a list of leading industry priorities that include: creating a funding source that supports material handling and logistics initiatives in research, education, innovation and development; building a vision and roadmap for next generation supply chains, material handling and logistics strategies, and expanding industry and academia collaboration, especially in research and technology.
Ozburn-Hessey Logistics, Brentwood, Tenn., opened two new facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas, a 60,000-square-foot distribution center and an international station located close to the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport that will be operated by its Barthco International division. The company also presented the Traylor Group, Rainsville, Ala., as its Supplier Partner of the Year. Traylor helped the logistics firm improve efficiencies and recycle thousands of tons of materials.
PakTech, Eugene, Ore., updated its logo and media materials. The new look will appear on new folders, brochures, stationary and trade show booth, which will debut at Pack Expo in October.
Sidel Group, Norcross, Ga., introduced the MySidel portal on the company’s Web site, sidel.com. MySidel offers 24/7 access to applications, including Spares On line and My E-Learning space, which can be tailored to match a customer’s machine fleet.
