A-B-C Packaging announced its Model 360 unpacker/case packer, which can automate unpacking empty containers from reshippers and repack filled containers. The machine’s servo-operated robotic-style transfer head performs both uncasing and case packing. With every cycle, two separate actions occur simultaneously: filled bottles are packed as empty bottles are gripped for unloading. Empty bottles are then deposited onto a conveyor for filling and additional filled containers are picked up for packing.
