Available in five varieties, the fermented tea beverages feature a distinctive blend of fruits, herbs, botanicals and a light effervescence. Celestial Seasonings augmented Kombucha’s naturally occurring enzymes, probiotics and antioxidants with all-natural functional ingredients to provide beverages with targeted wellness boosts, the company says. Kombucha varieties include Digestion: Meyer Lemon Ginger with prebiotics; Antioxidant: Superfruit containing acai, goji and pomegranate; Metabolism: Berry Guava with green tea extract and B-vitamins; Energy: Pomelo Citrus also features B-vitamins as well as ginseng; and Super Green: Tropical Blend includes spirulina for concentrated green food nutrients. The line will be available in 16-ounce bottles for a suggested retail price of $2.99 to $3.49 in April at Whole Foods Markets and other natural food stores.
