Importer August Wine Group announced an exclusive partnership with the Fabre family of Provence to produce two estate-grown roses for the U.S. and international markets, both under the Fabre en Provence brand moniker: Côtes de Provence AOP Rosé and Côtes de Provence AOP Cru Classé Rosé.
Capping several years of steady, modest growth for both domestic and import wines, the wine market in the United States continues to grow, experts note. Fueled by consumers’ interest in fine wine and increased product launches, the market has grown “at mid-single-digit rates on dollars [and] smaller single-digit rates on volume as consumers continue to trade up to more expensive wines,” says Danny Brager, senior vice president of beverage alcohol for New York-based Nielsen. “Sparkling wines in particular continue to grow dynamically at double-digit rates.”

This is the first campaign for Santa Margherita Wines as part of its new partnership with U.S. importer Santa Margherita USA Inc., also of Miami, the company says. For Who You Are will feature TV, print and digital advertising, kicking off a new creative approach with an intimate look at the Santa Margherita brand, it adds.
