Padre azul Tequila released the latest spirit in its portfolio: Xiaman Mezcal Artesanal. Xiaman Mezcal Artesanal is a blend of two equal parts of agaves, Tepextate and Espadín, providing a balance between the complex flavors of the Tepextate agave and the rich aromas from mature Espadín, the company says. The 44 percent alcohol by volume mezcal is harvested only during a full moon period, it adds. Packaged in a 750-ml and 50-ml bottle, Xiaman Mezcal Artesanal is available in select markets for a suggested retail price of $149.99 and $10.99, respectively.
