BFG Communications announced the launch of Lemonic ready-to-pour liqueur in test markets in South Carolina, with a hard launch slated for mid-summer. The 66.6-proof liqueur mixes a grain-neutral spirit with lemon flavors and a proprietary flavor. Lemonic offers an easier way for bartenders and consumers to sell and take a shot, the company says. The spirit targets both male and female consumers of legal drinking age by featuring a sweet taste profile for women and edgy branding to entice men, it adds. A 1-liter bottle will have a suggested retail price of $19.99.
