In anticipation of the return of the PBS series “Downton Abbey” in January, Wines That Rock launched the Downton Abbey Wine Collection. Imported by PL360 Beverage Partners, the collection features two blends from the Bordeaux region of France: a Blanc white wine and a Claret red wine. The wines were crafted by family-owned, French winemaker Grands Vins de Bordeaux, which used the same vines, soil and region as the Downton era to produce the wines. Downton Abbey Blanc is a light and crisp white blend, while Downton Abbey Claret is a medium-bodied red wine with bright fruit and a silky finish, the company says. A 750-ml bottle retails for approximately $14.99.
